Soeren Le Schmidt presented another minimalistic, beautiful collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week, inspired by architecture and based on his signature traditional tailoring.
For AW20, the designer stayed true to his sustainability agenda and his care of the environment, remodelling previous designs or using leftover materials to minimise waste. At the same time his creations are detail oriented allowing the wearer to personalise their own unique interpretation of his garments.
Playfulness is still key featuring pinstripes and dark colours such as black, navy blue and purple combined with an explosion of orange hues and vibrant ombre satins, elements we also saw last season as well as a fantastic mix of brightness against the dark colours – that are more evident this season.
AW20 collection also featured a unique collaboration with PILGRIM jewellery introducing a fusion between the jewellery design handcraft and Soeren Le Schmidt’s minimalistic and architectural silhouettes. The capsule collection included edgy chokers and belts that were perfectly teamed with the asymmetrical vibe of the tops, dresses and trousers, focusing on body proportions and the creation of timeless, unique looks.
