Inspired by Shakespeare’s universe, French designer Sandrine Philippe introduced her AW18 collection at Paris Fashion Week Men’s. The collection swings from one texture to another, a silent journey in a black land punctuated by touches of white in a constant chromatic range.
The designer is known by her heavy textural work involving handmade techniques and leather treatments processes such as deconstruction throughout the collection. These techniques are combined with human sensibilities and artisanal aesthetics creating the most unconventional pieces.
This season the collection explores the relationship between sense and madness through each one of her designs. The collection is dark, both in colour and in mood, featuring individual garments with a strong grungy style sending out a strong message of individuality.
