Russian born and Austrian raised designer Sabinna presented her spring summer 18 catwalk presentation in the beautiful setting of the Swiss Church during London Fashion Week.
This season the designer, known for her signature knitwear and crafts influences, explored the ‘connection to things’ and took inspiration from items she kept from her childhood such as jewellery and letters from her grandmother. Her unique crochet knit-wear made a comeback this season in a floral pattern version , alongside knee length dresses, hand knitwear and ruffled necklines in contrasting fabrics to create a super flirty look, but modest at the same time.
The collection had a very sharp and clean vibe, with the designer once again exploring relationships through the use of strong colours like intense red and dark navy in combination with pastels like baby blue and pink.
A stand out piece was the powder pink over-sized knitwear jumper. layered with asymmetric ruffles at the neckline proving once again how innovative the designer is by using knitwear with other fabrics in the most exceptional way.
