Berlin-based label Ottolinger presented their AW20 collection at Paris Fashion Week. The collection is an example of invisible sophistication – a symbol of sensuality and harmony for the contemporary women.
Designer duo Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient found inspiration in the elements of nature, skilfully blending beautiful raw materials, weaving together Denim from reused and recycled cotton and hand knitting Swiss Alpine details and playful vegan shearling jackets. Alluring, powerful and fiery, the classic Code of Ottolinger is made, broken and mixed by history, contemporary life and personal experience.
The dreamlike blue of the print from LA based artist Julien Nguyen enhances the power of the hand-dyed cloudy purple flanell. Timeless duffle over coats paired with vibrant shiny pleather pants, burned silky suits and mystical fringy raw edged gowns.
Ottolinger’s handwork shows the irresistible combination of grace, strength and independence of spirit as the Alpine interpretation of couture.
