Cool Scandinavian brand Munthe, known for their chic colourful designs, presented an eye catching AW20 collection entitled “Disruption” at Copenhagen Fashion week.
Always much anticipated, this season Naja Munthe presented her collection inside a bank office decorated with a rainbow check pattern runway carpet. Models were all styled with a stunning short bowl-cut hair style, bold 80’s inspired eye make-up and statement thigh-high boots and belts.
The designs were as usual, a mix of basic pieces, suits, stylish outwear and dresses all bursting with effortless femininity and women power, styled brilliantly in versatile layers of clashing patterns and colours.
Amongst the many standout pieces were a mini dress with a rainbow-coloured crystal Yin Yang symbol, beautiful grey leather suit styled with shiny thigh-high boots in the colour of golden honey and bright digital print dresses. There were T-shirts embellished with a rhinestone “Copenhagen”, cut-out details, bold shoulders and voluminous sleeves.
The colour palette was a mix and match of colours from checkered prints, black and white to shades of blue and brown creating once again a fresh, sleek and bold collection offering easy-to-wear pieces created for the Munthe woman, combined with the extra meaning of just the right balance in the middle of life’s challenges and disruptions.
