This season, designer Morten Ussing presented for the second time at Copenhagen Fashion Week. His SS19 show started with a soft Radiohead cover for the timeless track ‘creep’ and with models coming down the catwalk with flowy dresses and oversized straw hats, that completely stole the show. Flowers were a key element appearing both on dresses, or as prints, as well as embellished in the straw hats and bags.
Silhouettes were ultra-feminine and there was a calm, summery vibe to the whole collection, from playful designs to timeless, clean pieces. Colours were ranging from crisp white styles to vibrant hues such as orange, yellow and prints in green.
Once again, Morten Ussing empowers women through his simple, elegant designs and we can’t wait to see how this designer will be progressing into the next season.
