Markus Lupfer – Resort Collection 2018

Resort 2018 by German designer Markus Lupfer is full of colours, flowers and pearls. The collection stays true to the brand’s innovative use of embroidery and unique approach to jersey day wear and tailoring.

The collection features long silhouettes with a deep vintage vibe and a clear nod to the 40’s. Lupfer presents drapery wearable pieces that mix staple pieces such as the designer’s famous knitwear with fabrics like soft velvet. tulle dresses with the use of silk, crepe, and viscose.

Narrow belts, wide sailor pants, cuffed leather shorts, and sleeveless tops were seen with prints and patterns on pieces such as bomber jackets, Pintuck shirts and mini dresses. Beautiful colours are put together such as lemon yellow, forest Green and powder blue together with some stronger hues such as striking Red, purple and Burgundy. All colours, patterns and fabrics work well to create a chic, glam rock collection with a hint of a nostalgic feel.
