Lovechild 1979 takes us back to the seventies presenting a beautiful SS18 collection with a retro feel, inspired by the American artist Cy Twombly with his fun spirited paintings introduced as prints and patterns.
The aesthetics were as always very feminine with a bohemian feel, presenting pieces like flirty floral dresses as a big part of the collection. The suits, dress jackets, wide legged trousers and tailored silhouettes added yet an edgy vibe, masculine at times, with beautiful detailing and structured monochrome tailoring.
The colour palette went from Blue pink and yellow florals to lemon orchards, teamed with black tramping sandals or flip flops for a total laid back and relaxed look. It is safe to say that Lovechild 1979, with creative director Anne-Dorthe Larsen created one of the most feminine and one of our favourite collections in Copenhagen Fashion Week.
