Korean fashion brand KIMHÉKIM presented their SS20 collection “me” on the first day of Paris Fashion Week.
Continuing last season’s theme, this season, it’s all about seeking attention: the inspiration came from the attention seekers passing their summer vacation at the sanatorium in order to take care of themselves. Models appeared on the catwalk holding a selfie stick, or attached to an IV drip stand wearing t-shirts with the wording SICK.
Designer Kiminte Kimhekim learnt from his grandmother the art of creating a Korean traditional custom. He presents the traditional costumes working with Korean artisans to create a unique series where he tries to express his expertise.
This series is a part of a collection where everything you imagine comes to life. KIMHÉKIM created exaggerated experimental pieces – the signature giant bows we saw last season are back, alongside body hugging silhouettes, see-through materials and feminine dresses.
Once again, KIMHÉKIM offers the unique experience of high end finishing details of the garments for an unforgettable soiree.
