Jonathan Anderson remains one of the most fresh, and innovative designers in the European fashion scene, and it’s almost hard to believe he launched his womenswear only in 2010.
This season the JW Anderson’s ‘Resort’ girl has gone travelling somewhere exotic – presenting a mix of cool, effortless garments, fit-and-flare silhouettes and a brilliant mix of textures.
Presenting fluid knitwear, asymmetric skirts, knotted detailing and his signature layering – garments are teamed with oversized necklaces that compliment the collection and just as last year’s Resort, the designer stays true to the comfy and light feel of the pieces.
As always, bags add a special element to the collection and they are mostly draped and oversized. The well known fringe and pierce handbags versions also made an appearance this season in bolder and more striking versions.
JW offers Anderson once again a mix of cool, effortless sophistication for the unconventional girl and as as always his designs present new, exciting elements.
