HELIOT EMIL SS19 ‘Referential Transparency’
Copenhagen-based brand Heliot Emil introduced their SS19 collection titled ‘Referential Transparency‘ at Copenhagen Fashion Week, referring to a computer programming expression. The collection explored how much of our personalities are replaceable, how much is transparent experimenting with the balance of form and functionality.
Introducing a full womenswear’s line, created by brothers Julius and Victor Juul, the brand explored this season a range of fabrics from semi-transparent white to heat-sensitive thermo grey’s to deep black.
The label, known as innovative and provocative presented once again a rather futuristic collection featuring dramatic silhouettes using asymmetrical designs and radically cropped garments in a mostly black and white colour palette, with some touches of grey.
