Transylvanian designer Dora Abodi presented an extravagant, contemporary collection that was inspired by the mythical winged Unicorn, the Unisus.
The collection was presented at London Fashion Week as a part of Fashion Scout at Freemason’s Hall. Models paraded down the catwalk with smudged eye makeup, lip scars , polka dot faces embellishments and dishevelled french plaits in front of a huge fiber glass model. The bold looks completed the quirky collection containing furry fabrics, quilting, feathery layers and flirty sheer dress with a repeat applique pattern that added a colourful vibe to the collection. All pieces accessorised with the Unisus as an added feature on the front or the back of jackets or sweaters. Looks were asymmetrical and full of bold colours.
Dora Abodi graduated from MOD’ART International Art and Fashion Academy in 2009, before completing a masters in fashion in Milan in 2013
Defined as “baroque futurism” her collections are known for their romanticism and science fiction themes and have been worn by Fergie ,Taylor Swift and Lindsay Lohan.
