DECEMBER NINETEEN SS18 debut appearance

The Dubai based Danish brand DECEMBER NINETEEN made its first appearance at Copenhagen Fashion Week, launching the Spring/Summer 2018 collection in collaboration with This Time Tomorrow showroom at CIFF. The brand was created by Linda Bruun Lacin born and raised in Denmark. In 2010 Linda moved to Dubai, where she discovered a gap in the market for understated wardrobe essentials with impeccable quality. That encouraged her to create a collection fit for both the Scandinavian and Middle Eastern markets, cultures and tastes, what led to the creation of DECEMBER NINETEEN.

The collection stays true to the Scandi effortless chic, fresh and clean style but at the same time combines more fitting designs for middle eastern weather and cultural restrictions. The pieces are all very wearable and oversized in a Monochromatic colour scheme the colour used are White, beige and deep grey with the use of lightweight high quality fabrics. This collection is a mix between the Danish aesthetics and old Middle Eastern traditions – minimalistic meets warm and unpolished to create the perfect stand out (without actually trying to stand out) collection.
