German fashion scene rising star Danny Reinke presented his inspiring spring summer collection ‘A Breath of Nihilism’ at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin.
The young designer, who graduated from the FahModa Academy in Hanover in 2013, showcased his creations for the second time in Berlin Fashion Week -introducing a collection for the modern, urban woman who wishes to stay fashionable. The collection skillfully combines a playful and girly cliché with femininity and elegance. Just like his previous collection ‘Secret Desire‘ the current one carries its very own manuscript enchanting the viewer with his special style.
The designer created pieces such as short wrap miniskirts and elegant trouser suits with a delicate colour palette, full of pastels and sorbet colours. Bright green, light blue and peach, white and variations of nude through the entire collection which radiated vitality and freshness. Gold-plated shimmering, transparent fabrics and bodice corsets conveyed a contrast between lightness and traditions, while a stylish feminine touch is clearly mirrored in each and every garment. The outfits are combined with simple blouses in playful details such as long slits, shirred or puff sleeves and pinstripe.
Stand outs were no doubts the small frills and the partly applied lush tulles. dare we say- a-must-have as an addition to your evening wear, to add a certain elegance as well as a flowery feel to the outfit. That emphasises once again the designer’s special touch and his unmistakable attention to details.
