COS – Autumn Winter 2018 campaign

Fashion brand COS, known for their modern and functional designs, presented their Autumn Winter 2018 campaign shot by the renowned dutch art photographer Viviane Sassen.

The campaign presents a modular and innovative collection, carried by models Karen Elson and Fernando Cabral and styled by Hannes Hetta. The images are inspired by fusion in the surroundings, constructed elements and processes that make it astonishing.

The location was Kivik Art Center in Österlen, Sweden, which is in synergy with the central lines that characterize this season: sculptural shapes and contrasts materials. Where the natural horizon meets concrete confrontations, natural cotton meets sharp, technical fabrics.

Viviane Sassen‘s background in art photography gives a revitalised lens which captures the collection in a fresh, new way. A technically designed thermal jacket in grey is set against organic surroundings, while a lively, sulfur-coloured wool sweater is placed in contrast to a concrete surfaces.

The photographer’s stylistic perception of the models emphasises the synergy between the silhouettes and the feel of the collection as well as nature and the movement of textiles.
