Born in Taiwan, London based designer APUJAN presented his SS15 collection which merged between modern and oriental influences, with artfully executed knitting techniques.
His inspiration for this collection was “a roaming sheep” which has been a symbol in both western and eastern literatures. Specializing in Knitwear, the Designer created the collection is based around the animal that produces the material for his creations, and a symbol of humanity and vulnerability.
Heavy Knitwear were mixed with summer fabrics, light transparent chiffon layers and thigh high slits skirts adding to the spring/Summer feel.
Dominating the catwalk were different shades of blue, in marble-like and sea-like prints with hints of black and white. Pieces were teamed with geometric sunglasses and clutch bags.
Apujan presented a striking, elegant and most of all a feminine collection characterized with careful cuts, sheer accents, slashed necklines and exposed navels emphasizing the female form with a very high sense of aesthetic quality.
