Does fur give you a summary feeling? According to Anne Vest‘s collection ‘Furry Spring’ it can! The summer-2018 collection was presented at the D’Angleterre Hotel on the first day of Copenhagen fashion week, and was all about exploring the usability of fur. It was meant to give us the feeling we get when strolling on a golden sandy beach, all through the use of fur, which is usually identified with winter. Anne Vest’s collection was an almost non-summer summer collection – and it totally worked.
The playful, irresistible full range of fur was definitely designed to make a statement. With earthly calm and natural colour palette ranging from midnight blue over crisp grass green to sandy beige and enforced by flare colours such as a delicate yellow, sky blue and a kissable lipstick red. The designer’s signature dots were seen throughout the collection as 3D details or as beach balls in the form of cool earrings. Feminine yet casual silhouettes appeared in floor length feather light shirts, elegant trousers, lush urban fur coats and matching furry slippers that added a sporty touch to the collection. This season Anne Vest combined perfectly cool and laid back styles with more experimental looks inviting us to de-layer and get ready for the hot season.
