A. Roege Hove Fall/Winter 2022

Danish knitwear designer A. ROEGE HOVE presented her new AW22 during CPHFW22 showcasing at the channelside gallery “O” – Overgaden Department of Contemporary Art, located on a cobblestone street in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Copenhagen.

The solo exhibition “I am here for pleasure, but it is no fun” by Danish artist, Julie Sandvad, forms the setting for the collection. Her work naturally melts into the tactile universe of A. Roege Hove with a playful approach to dimensions and her way of developing shapes in close collaboration with material.

Both renewed and recognisable , A. Roege Hove is combining light and heavy styles into layered looks in this collection, making room for new shapes and textures using vibrant turquoise, deep chestnut and a signature use of monochrome black, white and transparent.

Diversity has become even more pronounced this season. The knitwear is being shaped and framed by the varying cast, making even more room for interpretation and perception of the collection, and letting the material, shape and bodies that wear it influence each other mutually.
